I'd forgotten how consistently busy a hospital is. No matter what time of day it is, there is always a line-up in emerge, more tests to be run, falling behind on scheduled appointments, and angry family who can't see their loved one just yet. It's so chaotic; I've no idea how people survive in a place like this.

Is it just me, or is there an overwhelming amount of children coming here? [...] I can't help but be frightened it is on purpose. As if the government plans to raise them and, oh, brainwash them or something. Create a terrifying child army, or something. I know, it's an irrational thought. I've been re-watching too many zombie films. And with what happened to Luna Lovegood...

I seem to be related to a large majority of them.

Russian is much harder than medicine. Any volunteers to help me learn it? I can memorize the words and I know my sentence structure is off, but I'm sure it's understandable. However, I cannot for the life of me mimic the sounds. The little darling I'm guardianing giggles at me more than once a day.

Katya, darling, our flat has changed. I have moved our things. We are now in building two, room 108. I bought more of the ingredients you asked for yesterday to cook whenever you would like. It was all delicious, you are much better in the kitchen than I am. Will you teach me?

I never really considered magic being a gene. I suppose I always just assumed it was [...] magic. Either you had it or you didn't. It ran through you, powdered by your energy. I'm sure someone, somewhere has done a DNA study, but I've never seen results. I suppose it's possible, just seems weird that there is a 'magic gene' that's never been discovered by muggles.

I saw you two harassing Mr Croaker. He's a pleasant grown man, and likely has no idea where you two came from. Trust me, you'll get plenty of time to scare and blame young men, all while embarrassing me. Mr Croaker is one you can leave alone.

Sorry about my parents. Even at ten and twelve they are over-protective and embarrassing. They mean well.

I want to apologize for the [...] conversations that transpired between us on the journals. Mental health is an issue that is important to me, and an issue I am helping raise awareness for through my work. My emotions got the better of me, and I wrote while reacting instead of thinking.

I will leave you well and alone after this, as I feel you care little to know about me even though you're my-, but I am wondering what you intend to do about Teddy Lupin. My father. He has always wanted to meet you. He has idolized you for his entire life. I know my mother wrote an entry, and it likely didn't sit well with you, but [...] if you do want to know him, I can provide you with some information about him.

I was awarded custody of Katya Dolohov. At the moment she is very ill and frail, and I've been providing her with medicine.

I am now one of your resident nurses! Bit of a demotion, but I suppose I cannot blame this world without an interview or skills assessment. Hopefully that's what this job is; a stepping stone while they observe my abilities.

I haven't done a lot of medical work involving patients since university, but I'm sure it won't take long until it comes back to me. Clinical hours are required for a reason; to ingrain methods we will never forget. On the bright side of when there seems to be no other options, I have extensive knowledge of medicine that hasn't been marketed yet.

It's weird, not having a formula to wake up to, or a new medicine to develop, or to read reports of a medical trial and figure out if we can alter the medicine to make it even better. The first few days were nice, but now I'm finding myself bored. I've been doodling and thinking and trying to continue designing medicine, but it's near impossible without the proper materials and testing stage. I can write formulas all day long, but without ingredients, it's nothing more than a pipe dream.

I think I may go for a run; restart my training that I've been slacking on lately.

Speaking of here, by the way - where exactly is here? It seems oddly like London with stark differences. Like the steam technology; cool idea, but I was pretty sure it wasn't moving past the geeks comic-cons. Anything else that I should immediately know about this place? Aliens are watching us, aren't they? Dammit I always told them it was irrational and look where that got me Does anyone know where to purchase a clock? The one I was provided with seems a touch untrustworthy.

I would absolutely love to know the theoretical work behind what brought us all here. Honestly did not believe time travel on this sort of scale was possible. I can't exactly argue with reality, however, so me sitting here writing this is my undeniable proof that is is real. I suppose I'll be off to explore, then
